SEAT MODIFICATION FOR TRIUMPH SPEED TWIN
When the customer contacted us, he already had in mind what he wanted for his bike.
So he had clear ideas, but he was looking
for someone who could make what he imagined and foretasted real.

The original saddle of his Triumph Speed Twin turned out to be as hard as a sole and not very comfortable.

The customer asked us to thicken it, and to create a small hump.
Not too pronounced in Cafè Racer style, but more tapered.

So we went on to add three layers of padding, in order to raise the seat and create the back curve

Subsequently, after drawing the shape of the saddle, we went on to remove the superfluous part of the padding

Once we had the desired result, we smoothed and made the seat and sides of the saddle smooth and linear

At this point, to make the saddle even more comfortable, we
proposed to the customer to carry out a density
reduction and to insert a gel plate inside the padding
Once ready, we covered the saddle with a thin layer of finishing foam

And finally we created the lining as requested by him: Black bi-elastic
faux leather for motorcycle use, with a diamond texture with
stitching and red piping, plus customized lettering on the back

Finally we covered the padding with the requested customized lining and this is the final result.

The customer received his saddle just this morning, and enthusiastically complimented us on the work done.
This is the petrol that moves the AS Design engine every day!
